So February is upon us, and after the incredible month that was January I am thrilled to tell you about things things I have coming up. Which is handy since I have set myself a 28 day challenge, to blog every day.
I am going to start this wonderful challenge with a GIVEAWAY! Don’t you be telling me that I don’t do awesome things for you.
The lovely folk at InstantPrint got in touch and offered me a 1000 of their gorgeous business cards, of ourse I jumped at the chance. With BPSFW just around the corner and a wonderful trip to NYC the week after where I will be meeting and interviewing some amazing people and brands, the offer couldn’t have come at a better time.
I sent over my design, which was super duper simple to create online, then within a week the cards we with me! I have had a lot of business cards in my life, from my first job in recruitment to having my own company I have always felt a little let down, the quality has never been good enough and the design has been a struggle. So to say I was thrilled by the whole process is an understatement.
I decided on the matte finish on the cards is really expensive looking something I am always a fan of! I even made my first Vine 6 second video of the cards…geeky but I love it! You can find me on Vine heyworlditsmeemma
So the Super Duper Exciting news is that I am giving away 4 sets of 1000 custom cards!

I love a good coincidence…
Only yesterday I was talking to my fiancée about getting some business cards printed, however not for the normal reason…..
I know most companies will send out gift wish cards, however due to the nature of having to get our honeymoon booked (to ensure we got the time off work), this has meant that we can’t include contributing towards our this as part of a department store wish list.
This is where I thought it might be a really cool thing to get business cards printed with details of how my lovely guest, if they so wish could contribute towards my honeymoon. Then these business cards could sit alongside the gift list cards in our invitations!
Genius I know.
Probably not what they’re meant to be used for but that’s me thinking outside the box for you.
So if you want to contribute to my honeymoon or just help me out with some free “business” cards, let me know.

What a great giveaway. I would love to get my hands on some of these because my second book is about to come out and I am embarking on my first signings and writing-related networking. It is a really great idea to have some cards that tell people about ‘author’ me rather than my average work cards!

What a great idea! You really do think outside of the box. I love reading your blog almost as much as I enjoyed eating your toffee cupcakes (not quite as much but your blog is far less fattening!).
As I already have my own business cards in abundance and have just recently got another set of the ‘Gluten Free and Me’ cards to give out to people who want to join our friendly Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/glutenfreeandme/) for people following a gluten free diet (nothing like a shameless plug!!), this should go to someone just starting up or a charity who needs some help in advertising. So I won’t be entering the competition (unless to give away to a charity), but I just wanted to say what a great idea it is.
