“Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, covered in scars, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, woooohooo! what a ride”
This quote sums up exactly how I feel about life, it is not simply a chance to have all your ducks in a row and tick all the boxes, its an opportunity to say “yes” to life”
So let’s start at the beginning – I sold my business, all of my worldly goods and have embarked on a huge adventure to America all by myself.
So on 1st August 2012 I returned home from my amazing adventures, landed my dream job and decided that this blog could be more than just a diary of my travels but of my life.
Thank you so much to every single one of you that reads this blog, takes time to email me and comment, tweet me @emglobetrotter or are generally wonderful people I have met since starting this blog

I’m looking forward to reading about your adventures, Emma and hope that a visit to Canada may figure it’s way in too. One small favour to ask though…..could you make the font of your blog a little larger? These old eyes are having a hard time reading it and I don’t want to miss a word. XO Orest
I’m feeling a little stupid now. I just found the proper blog. I thought your title page was it so never mind my previous request……XO
Ha old man! Glad you sorted it! Yeah thinking I will come up last week of July
Cool! I’ll take some time off and show you the sights……
